Application For Relief: Apply For a Government Grant and Never Pay It Back!

By John Roney

Applying for grants is a frequently discussed topic these days as a result of the current economic situation and reserve funds being offered by President Obama. How is it possible to get a grant you don't have to pay back? There has to be a catch!

The US government has set aside billions of dollars for various grant programs. Much of this money is not given out each year because many people don't know that it is available and that they are eligible to receive it. In fact, it is increasingly easy to find applications for free government grants available online to fill out. Most of these applications take a few minutes at most to complete. The money itself can be used for various things, including reducing your debt.

Federal grants are drafted and administered by the Federal Grant and Cooperative Agreement Act of 1977 - Therefore you can rest assured that they are 100% legal. Personal grants differ from loans in that they are not repayable and are carefully defined under the above act.

I know what you're thinking...what if I have a bad credit record or if I'm in serious debt or worse, bankrupt? You need only be concerned with two things. That you are over 18 and that you are an American Citizen. You don't have to worry about credit checks or guarantors. In fact you can fill out the application for relief even if you are totally bankrupt!

By simply trying to apply, you can reap the benefits of this grant as it is free and can help you get your life back on track. You could use the money to start a business, finance your university education or degree, pay off overdue bills, make home repairs that have been sorely needed, and many other things that require financial aid.
